Skills
The Creative Projects Award I received from Wayne State University in 2011 allowed me to travel for research regarding agates and other gemstones. I then created a series of large scale paintings and presented the works and my research to Wayne State students, faculty, and scholars. I enjoy painting murals, commissioned or personal in my free time. I have also been an animal caretaker for the past 7 years and have been a nanny for a teen with disabilities for 3 years. I am a hard and caring worker, feel comfortable speaking in front of a crowd, being a leader, and finishing all tasks assigned to me. I enjoy labor intensive jobs, and am a fast learner. I have worked pool maintenance for over 10 years and feel I can easily learn how to fix machines and work under pressure. I look at tasks creatively and like to add a bit of imagination to all things I do while keeping a great reverence for nature, health, and travel.
